Sacred Spaces & Places

Amy here, saying hello from my new home, after a week of moving house, packing, unpacking, decluttering, and nesting. There is something truly special about settling into a new space. Finding new home comforts and figuring out where to put all the books my husband and I own (it’s truly getting quite out of control!), and creating a home, I guess, for all of our “things.”

There’s something so cosy about this new home. Maybe it’s because it feels truly lived in, carrying many stories of its own. The building was built in the mid-1800s, and I’m sure it has provided a sacred space and sanctuary for many over the years.

I’ve felt so inspired again, exploring a familiar area, but in a completely different way. I did my regular running route in reverse the other morning, and everything felt as though I’d never seen it before. A little reminder to shake things up sometimes.

For me, it feels like a true nesting season mixed with exploration, which has inspired me to start up online livestream group classes again from home. I ran many online classes during the lockdowns, and they provided me, and hopefully the community too, a moment in the day that felt sacred, untouched, and connected from afar.

I’ll be running the classes on Fridays, starting this week. Each class will be a 45-minute online livestream practice to awaken your body and soul from the comfort of your own home. I would you to join!

Speaking of sacred places… we’re retreating to Peru!

I’m honestly still pinching myself that we’ll be retreating to the Sacred Valley. This venue has been a dream location for Janet and I, and feels like a once in a lifetime adventure! A retreat for the soul, where ancient wisdom, breathtaking landscapes, and soulful adventure create the perfect container for transformation.

I can’t wait to explore the mystical lands of the Andes, immerse ourselves in Peru’s vibrant culture, and reconnect to self and spirit.

I love that this practice can inspire us to explore new places filled with history and wonder, while also creating connection in the comfort of our own homes.

Lots of love,
Amy xx
