Together, we will unwind, reconnect, and “retreat” ourselves. We love yoga, we love to travel, and creating magic that happens only on a retreat!
Your Host Lucy Lord
Lucy is a cook, baker, yogi, friend, and human.
If you haven’t met Lucy Lord and her lovely corner of the internet, let us introduce you! She is known to most as a recipe developer, food stylist, food photographer and Sunday Times Bestselling author, but to us, she is pure sunshine in human form. Her passions for food, travel, yoga, and life are no secret, nor is her addiction to retreats! She has been on over 17 to be exact. She is so passionate about well-rounded living, that she created Supper Club, a platform sharing simple recipes that bring people together through movement, food, and creative events. She oozes kindness and community is at the heart of everything she does.
She can’t wait to hang out with you!
Your Teachers & Hosts
Amy and Janet are yogis, teachers, wanderlusters, and lovers of life.
These two are dedicated teachers, students and world travellers. When they aren’t planning yoga classes, they are planning their next holiday.
When it comes to yoga, their practices are strong, creative, and always a bit cheeky! Both of these experienced teachers ooze kindness in every conversation and interaction they have with the people around them. They are inclusive and believe every student and person in the room deserves to be seen. You will feel at home in their presence and inspired to live your life to the fullest.
They are also passionate about travelling, and exploring the world and believe the best escape is all about balance on and off the mat. Expect to be fully immersed, escape the daily hustle, feel balanced and nourished with a spice of adventure!
We can’t wait to hang out with you!
The Destination
The estate is located just 1hr from Dublin in the breathtaking Glendalough Valley
Our home for the retreat, The Deerstone, is a 6-acre sustainable luxury resort tucked into the wild beauty of Wicklow National Park, alongside the Inchavore River. It’s located just an hour from Dublin and a few minutes walk from the quaint village of Laragh, on the outskirts of stunning Glendalough. The Deerstone is the perfect base from which to explore all that “the Garden of Ireland” has to offer.
The Deerstone has been thoughtfully designed to bring you closer to nature, with locally sourced, sustainable materials woven throughout the estate. Surrounded by woodland, it’s the perfect opportunity to slow down and recharge. Expect plenty of opportunities to move, explore, switch off and reconnect. From mindful movement and woodland walks to wild swims, cold plunges and restorative wellness experiences. And, of course the most important part, the food! With wholesome feasts to fuel the soul and connect around the table.
The estate is a collection of eco-conscious luxury cottages, cosy shepherd’s huts and deluxe guestrooms, creating an atmosphere that feels connected to nature, where simple luxury meets true comfort. Relax in the Woodland Wellness Space, with its thermal experiences, wood-fired sauna, hot tubs and Japanese soaking tub.
Whether you choose to explore the countryside, indulge in hot and cold therapy, or simply rest in the peaceful surroundings, each moment invites deep relaxation and quiet restoration, completely immersed in the breathtaking natural landscape.
Nourish Body and Soul
Just like yoga, a good meal nourishes all the senses and brings people together.
We believe a retreat is only as good as the food! The Deerstones food ethos is centred around meals that bring people together around the table, with delicious, nourishing creations using local Irish produce and ingredients from trusted local suppliers, supporting sustainability and mindful living!
Meals on retreat will be vegetarian, thoughtfully created to showcase fresh, seasonal ingredients. Abundant breakfasts, wholesome lunches and evening feasts all served in the Shed, which is the heart of the resort. There is a cosy dining room area overlooking Wicklow National Park, with a woodfire and bar.
We’ve worked closely with the chefs at The Deerstone to create a menu that is packed with flavour and rich in nutrients, leaving you feeling energised and refreshed. If you have any dietary requirements, let us know upon booking.
Each evening, we’ll come together to connect and share stories around the table, often with a cheeky glass of wine in hand, because the best moments are the ones shared.
Find Balance
The yoga studio is the perfect space to dive deep into the practice, and come home to yourself.
The Deerstone’s yoga studio, the Roundhouse, has been thoughtfully designed as a haven where well-being is at the heart of every detail. Much like our yoga practice, it embraces a holistic approach to living, balancing comfort, simplicity, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
A light-filled yoga space overlooking the Avonmore River and surrounded by nature invites you to drop into the present moment, nourishing the body and soothing the soul. This retreat is all about balance: wholesome, nourishing feasts paired with daily yoga, and a cheeky glass of wine in the evening, because true wellbeing is as much about joy as it is about restoration.
Yoga Styles
Dynamic Flow
A strong, alignment-based vinyasa practice. Through intelligent sequencing, informed alignment, and yogic wisdom, students are encouraged to slow down and experience every moment of their lives. Our morning practices will be challenging and awakening, yet accessible for all levels.
Yin Yoga
Long, slow, and deep is one way to describe yin yoga. Postures are low to the ground and are held for longer periods to bring stillness and restoration to the body and mind. We believe in the balance, ease, and wholeness that Yin brings to students. These practices give you time to rest and digest and drop into a state of deep relaxation.
Sound Healing
Sound healing is the practice of using different sounds and instruments to create a deep connection with self, and your intuition and improve your emotional well-being. Amy will guide you through sound healing sessions using pure quartz crystal singing bowls, incorporating mediation techniques, and using mantra and intention setting to allow you to dive deep into relaxation. Sound healing baths will be practised lying down using props to support the body, offering a space to rest, unwind and heal through the frequency of sound.
Gimme More
Throughout the week we will include special yoga workshop as well as sprinkle in pranayama and meditation experiences for a complete practice.
Woodland Wellness Adventures
This retreat is an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and create your own adventure. Our retreats offer the perfect balance: a sprinkle of structure and plenty of freedom. With beautiful walks on your doorstep, you can fully immerse yourself in the natural surroundings, while the quaint village of Laragh is close by to explore in your free time.
Balancing exploration with rest is what we do best. There will be plenty of time to relax, unwind and move at your own pace. The venue is the perfect setting to slow down in the Woodland Wellness Space.
The Woodland Wellness Space has been thoughtfully designed to offer a nourishing and revitalising experience, helping you restore your energy and reconnect with your body. Enjoy a communal large wood-fired sauna, two smaller saunas and four ice baths for hot and cold therapy. There is also a Hydropool swim spa, an infused soak bath and a massage treatment room, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and restore.
We believe a retreat should give you the freedom to explore at your own pace. In between yoga classes, you have the space to rest, reconnect with nature and meet yourself exactly where you need to be.

FAQ
Who is this retreat for?
Our retreats are available to anyone who is wanting to take a week off from their busy life and experience a week of yoga, nourishing food and connect with like minded people in the most dreamy places. Whether you’re a regular practitioner or new to yoga, you’re all welcome and will be fully supported. We will be moving our bodies a lot on retreat so please let us know in your booking form if you have any injuries, health conditions or recent surgeries so we can cater for you.
Do I need to have a regular yoga practice to attend?
All of our retreats are available to the beginner yogi to the advanced and the non-yogi partner or friend that is brand new to yoga. We are all about inclusivity and inspiring people to live their lives to the fullest in a healthy way.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! A yoga retreat is a great place to make new friends and meet like minded people. You are welcome to book a single room or we can pair you up with other solo travellers for a shared room if available. If for some reason there is no one to pair you with for a shared room, you would need to pay for a single room.
How many people will be on the retreat?
The group size varies depending on the destination and venue. Typically our experiences average between 10 - 20 students and ensure the perfect teacher to studio ratio so everyone feels supported and connected. The more students, the more teachers. We love to create an intimate environment to create community while still giving you the freedom to be able to do your own thing when you like.
What food can I expect on retreat?
Only the best! We love food and it is such an important part of the retreat experience. We work with our venues to curate a beautiful menu of fresh and local cuisines. Typically meals are communal and a time to connect and share. If you have any dietary or allergies, please let us know in your booking form.
Are flight and airport transfers included?
Flights and transfers are not included in the retreat price unless otherwise specified for your destination.
How do I get to the retreat venue?
We recommend flying into Dublin Airport, which is the closest airport to the venue only a 1 hour drive. We can help organise transfers at an extra cost and provide advice on your journey to/from the retreat.
How do I secure my space for the retreat?
For each retreat we require you to submit your booking form and make a non-refundable deposit to secure your space. Please follow the booking buttons above.
What should I bring?
We will provide you with a suggested packing list for each retreat. We always recommend a swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, walking shoes, journal, reusable water bottle and of course, comfortable athletic wear for duration of your retreat. We will let you know if you need to bring a yoga mat and props or if they will be provided by the venue.
Can I come early or stay longer at the venue?
We love when retreaters extend their retreat into a longer holiday! Staying onsite is dependent on what the venue allows. We will let you know when you book if this is available.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
Please read our cancellation policy located on the booking form carefully prior to booking and paying for your €500 non-refundable deposit.
I have more questions, how do I get in touch?
We love questions! Please email us at hello@nectarflows.com and we will provide all the answers.
Testimonials
“Nectar is a community! I first heard about Nectar when Lucy Lord did a retreat collab with them back in May 2025. I was really hesitant at first, as had never done a yoga retreat before and I couldn’t find any of my friends to join me. So it was a big risk to take emotionally and financially. It took me several months to take the leap and book it but it was one of the best things I have done!! I arrived late on the first night and felt awkward, but Janet and Amy were so welcoming, I was greeted with a warm hug and instantly made me feel at ease. I shared a dorm room with two other single girls and can honestly say I made some great mates on that trip, and we still talk on the group chat to this date. Since then I have joined Nectar on their London day retreat and will definitely join again. Forever more I consider myself part of the Nectar family! So if you are sitting on the fence about going- just book it- as you will not regret it!
”
“If you’re trying to decide whether to book a retreat with Nectar Flows, just do it. You won’t regret it.
I booked a retreat having never done a yoga class and not knowing anyone on the retreat and it’s genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever done. So much so that I’ve booked another retreat!
Janet and Amy are incredible teachers and incredible people. Their patience, encouragement and knowledge is second to none. It didn’t matter that the yoga practices had a mix of people able to do advanced poses, and people who couldn’t touch their toes. The same level of instruction and encouragement was given to everyone and we all got so much out of the classes.
The attention to detail was insane and it’s clear how much thought and effort went in to every aspect of the retreat.
I thought a retreat would be a bit serious and intense but the whole experience was just FUN. We laughed so much our bellies hurt and we left with friends for life. So book it. It’s so so so worth it!”
