Annabel Saies
An Adelaide based yoga teacher and teacher trainer with an old soul and wisdom beyond her years.
Studying, exploring and playing with various movement practices and modalities has always been a huge part of Annabel’s life. From yoga, dance, team sports and outdoor fitness, Annabel believes movement to be an expression of the self and the gateway into revelation and new ways of being. Currently her passion is steeped in Yoga with an aim to share the techniques with students to supports a deeper awareness of the body, breathe and mind, and help people to create a more sustainable relationship with self, community and the world.
From being a dancer, to running an outdoor fitness community to yoga teacher, all these practices and paths have illuminated curiosity, connection and community for Annabel and inspire her to continue in this way. She has learnt that through consistent practice and ongoing study, movement/yoga has brought a depth of awareness and light to Annabel's life that she is grateful for. As a teacher she hopes to pass on her passion, knowledge and understanding of the human body to her students, in a playful and supportive way, so that they too can experience their own expansion.
Having completed over 500 hours of Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher trainings, a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Dance and her Cert III in Group Fitness, you can expect her classes to intertwine influences from all. Annabel extends deep gratitude to all her teachers and mentors along the way, Jolie Manaz, Barton Tanner, Duncan Parviainen, Amy Carmody, Bess Prescott & Tahl Rinsky, who have influenced her and her teaching in epic ways.
