Covid-19 Policy

At Nectar, we are committed to delivering safe experiences for our community. The health, safety, well-being and peace of mind of our students is always our number one priority. We continue to closely monitor situations and government guidelines in each retreat location so that we can deliver the best retreat and travel experience for all of our students. We pride ourselves in having close relationships with all of our local hosts and trusted partners, who are providing us with the most up to date information to ensure we are safe, well looked after and following government guidelines on retreat.

Our retreats will go ahead as long as travel to and/or from the destination is not restricted, our hosts and teachers are not restricted to travel and there are no quarantine restrictions.

So that you can fully relax and disconnect on retreat, we will be taking the following precautions and safety measures on every retreat experience.

Prior to Booking

We will abide by the laws and government regulations of each retreat location and country. Certain retreat locations and venues may require full vaccinations and/or negative covid tests. We will do our best to keep you informed with the entry requirements of each retreat destination, however please visit your government website at the time of booking to ensure you are aware of all entry/return requirements. It is your responsibility to stay up-to-date as the retreat is approaching, as information is subject to change as per the laws and regulations of each retreat location and country.

Due to our financial commitment to venues and holding your space on retreat, there are no refunds in the event that you are tested positive with Covid-19 and are unable to attend the retreat. Please make your booking with full awareness of this policy. Additionally there are no refunds or partial refunds if you test positive on retreat. You are responsible for your full retreat payment.

After Booking

Travel insurance with covid coverage is mandatory for many retreat locations and venues. We recommend researching the local destination for health insurance requirements, including Covid-19 coverage. We highly recommend on any retreat that you purchase “Cancel for Any Reason” within 1 week of booking your retreat including covid coverage. Due to our financial commitments with our venues, partners and teachers, we do not give refunds in any instance of cancellation. Travel insurance with covid coverage is your only security and all claims must be made through your insurer.

Nectar Flows Pty Ltd is not an insurance provider and is not responsible for your insurance policy or claims. In no event will Nectar Flows offer or be responsible for refunds of a Covid-19 insurance claim.

Before Departure

Prior to departure, please research retreat destinations and current local government regulations for entry, vaccination requirements and Covid-19 testing requirements. You acknowledge that you will comply with all regulations. You will also need to comply with your chosen airline’s Covid-19 testing policy.

To ensure the health and safety of all of our retreat attendees and community, we require all of our attendees to provide one/or both pending on retreat location and venue requirements of the following:

  1. Proof of negative COVID-19 test prior to arrival at retreat venue (RAT or PCR)

  2. In some circumstances you may need to provide proof of COVID-19 full vaccination, depending on retreat location and venue

If you are vaccinated, please send us a copy of your complete vaccination certificate at the time of booking or no later than 72hrs prior to departure. If you are not vaccinated please let us know as some retreat locations & destinations require vaccination certificates on entry. Proof of the above will be required to be emailed to hello@nectarflows.com prior to the retreat.

We require you to complete a health declaration form 3 days prior to the retreat to confirm that you do not have any symptoms of Covid-19 and haven't been in contact with anyone who has been tested positive.

If you test positive before the retreat or are unable to attend due to isolation, you will not be allowed to attend and there are no refunds. We strongly recommend you to purchase a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” trip insurance policy. Additionally, we highly recommend staying healthy prior to retreat and avoiding large crowds where there is potential for contraction to minimise your exposure and potential risk of contracting Covid-19.

During the Retreat

Our steps below to protect safety, freedom and peace of mind on retreat;

  • Social distancing and mask wearing will be implemented as per the guidelines and Covid protocols of the retreat destination. Eg. mask wearing in taxis, to/from tours, shops, airport etc. Please be respectful and follow all guidelines.

  • Cleaning protocols and procedures will be implemented by our host retreat venues

  • While on retreat, if you feel ANY symptoms at all of Covid-19 during the retreat, you are obligated to inform your host or teachers immediately. You may be isolated in a separate accommodation facility to ensure both the health and safety for yourself and all retreat attendees until you return a negative result. We will arrange for a covid test and medical attention if required. You are fully responsible for all and any additional costs associated including but not limited to covid tests, accommodation for self isolation, medical treatment, hospitalisation, any travel change fees, evacuation etc. We will do our best to support you in these circumstances.

  • In the event another attendee on the retreat tests positive for Covid-19, we will follow all guidelines of the host country including but not limited to covid-testing and isolation. All retreat attendees are fully responsible for all costs incurred.

  • Before departure - It is your responsibility to arrange testing if required by your home country on return. The testing and any associated costs are at the individual’s expense. If you test positive, the same procedures stated above will apply if you are still onsite with us.

After the Retreat

If you test positive to Covid-19 immediately after the retreat, please advise us immediately at hello@nectarflows.com so that we may inform anyone that came into close contact with you during the retreat
