The Destination
Our luxury estate is hidden away in the peaceful countryside of Mallorca, Spain
Mallorca, the largest of Spain’s Balearic Islands, is a Mediterranean gem known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic mountain ranges, charming stone villages, and golden sunsets. From the rugged beauty of the Serra de Tramuntana to the vibrant markets and cafés of Palma, the island blends natural splendour with rich culture and relaxed elegance. Life moves at a slower, more intentional pace here — long lunches, warm evenings, and a deep connection to land and sea — making it the perfect setting to restore, explore, and be inspired.
Osa Major is a private yoga and wellness retreat venue in Mallorca, just 30 minutes from Palma Airport, where nature, comfort, and connection come together. The finca rests at the end of a winding dirt road, surrounded by ancient olive trees and overlooking the sun-drenched pastures of rural Mallorca. Both a home and a spiritual sanctuary — an expression of artistry and a quiet celebration of abundance. The land carries a grounding, expansive energy that invites you to slow down, soften, and fully arrive.
With an open-air yoga shala sits at the top of the hill, overlooking a wide green valley, while a luxurious pool and sun loungers offer the perfect place to bask and unwind between classes. It is a true escape from the daily grind. Here, privacy is naturally held by the landscape. Silence, open space, and uninterrupted views create an environment where time stretches and connection — to self, to others, and to nature — unfolds with ease.
Your Host & Teacher
Helena is a yogi, barre teacher, and lover of life
Helena is a Barre and Yoga instructor and also the founder of The Body Zone By Helena, a movement app for women to take class around their own schedules, that work for them.
Helena discovered her joy for movement in her dance roots. Having spent a number of years training and working as a dancer, she quickly gravitated towards the classes which felt like coming 'home'.
“It was so incredibly refreshing to celebrate my body and show up as myself after years of self sabotage. I know what it feels like when our head is in a dark place and for me, creating a method where we can celebrate our raw authentic selves, our strength and show ourself we care every single time we take a class is my goal. Breaking down the barriers between the body and the mind is a huge inspiration for all of my classes, as I know for me this was totally game changing."
We love Helena’s classes. You will feel welcome in her presense and inspired to live life to the fullest!
She can’t wait to hang out with you!

Nourish Body & Soul
We believe a retreat is only as good as the food!
Our private chef Nina is a passionate chef from Amsterdam, whose love for fresh, local ingredients comes to life at Osa Major, the family’s cherished retreat. With a background in Amsterdam’s vibrant food scene, Nina developed her skills working in restaurants and catering, gaining a deep appreciation for the art of cooking and the power of seasonal produce.
Nina creates menus inspired by the seasonal offerings of the land, with a special love for vegetables and vegetarian cooking from all cuisines. She celebrates vibrant colours, bold flavours, and diverse textures. For Nina, the best meals begins with the freshest, most authentic ingredients, and she finds true joy in transforming them into nourishing and unforgettable experiences for her guests.
Daily we will have brunch, light lunch, and an evening feast with all the Mediterranean flavours and delights. Offering nourishing, seasonal vegetarian meals. Everything is prepared with care and intention. We believe in balance, so you can expect healthy, vibrant cooking, as well as moments to indulge your taste buds.
Find Balance
The yoga studio embraces heritage and neutral colours. The perfect space to dive deep into the practice.
Our open-air yoga shala sits at the top of the mountain, overlooking a wide green valley - an inspiring space to move, breathe, and welcome the sunrise in stillness. You will be immersed not just in the practice but also in the natural surroundings. The land holds a quiet, grounding energy, surrounded by nature, silence, and complete privacy.
Osa Major supports deep presence, reflection, and connection, an inspiring space offering calm, spaciousness, and natural beauty needed to guide participants inward - held by expansive views, fresh air, and a sense of simplicity.
You will feel at ease in this natural setting, perfectly curated for you to feel at one with the surroundings and yourself.
Movement Styles
Barre
Barre is a synergy of strength, creativity and Pilates style movements. First created by dancer, Lotte Berk, this method provides mental and physical results like nothing else. Berk fled Nazi Germany and relocated to London in 1938, and it was here that she began teaching students her groundbreaking method. Classes invite space to connect to the beat of the music, to challenge, move with intention and to greatly empower both body and mind! Classes can be done standing or on the floor, with your own bodyweight or with equipment. With high repetitions and low impact on the joints, the method creates incredible strength deep within muscle fibres, without the impact of jumping. Barre is one of the only mainstream methods created by a woman, and you can really feel that in the movement. Once you try it, you will be hooked!
Yin Yoga
Long, slow, and deep is one way to describe yin yoga. Postures are low to the ground and are held for longer periods of time to bring stillness and restoration to the body and mind. We believe in the balance, ease, and wholeness that Yin brings to students. These practices give you time to rest and digest and drop into a state of deep relaxation.
Sound Healing
Sound healing is the practice of using different sounds and instruments to create a deep connection with yourself, and your intuition and improve your emotional well-being. Amy will guide you through sound healing sessions using pure quartz crystal singing bowls, incorporating mediation techniques, and using mantra and intention setting to allow you to dive deep into relaxation. Sound healing baths will be practised lying down using props to support the body, offering a space to rest, unwind and heal through the frequency of sound.
Explore Cultural Surroundings
Mallorca, the largest of Spain’s Balearic Islands, is a Mediterranean paradise where natural beauty meets effortless elegance
With crystal-clear turquoise waters, hidden coves, golden beaches, and dramatic coastal scenery, the island feels both wild and refined. With its warm climate, relaxed Mediterranean rhythm, and deep connection to land and sea, Mallorca is more than a destination — it’s a feeling.
Just 30 minutes from our retreat venue, Palma blends history with modern sophistication. Wander its cobbled old town, browse boutique shops and vibrant markets, and visit the stunning La Seu Cathedral overlooking the marina — the perfect addition before or after your retreat.
Our retreat is set in Es Pla, Mallorca’s rural heart, where rolling fields, vineyards, almond and olive groves, and wide-open skies create a slower, more traditional rhythm of life. Charming towns like Sineu, Petra, and Santa Maria del Camí offer local markets, stone churches, and welcoming cafés that reflect the island’s authentic spirit.
Peaceful and sun-drenched, central Mallorca offers space, stillness, and a deep connection to the land — while remaining close to beaches, mountains, and Palma. It’s more than a destination; it’s a feeling that invites you to slow down and truly unwind.
